Hitman 2 is available on PC, Xbox One, and PS4.
Hitman 2 isn’t quite the shot to the heart it could have been, but it’s close enough to count.” The game lacks some of the refinement expected of a world-class assassin, but the top-notch level design and some small, but key improvements to the series’ core mechanics more than make up for a few presentation and polish issues. “Hitman 2 is yet another well-executed entry in IO Interactive’s killer franchise.

Still holding out on Hitman 2? I found it to be another rock-solid entry in IO Interactive’s long-running series in my full review… The Silver and Gold editions are no longer available for purchase most places, but those who missed out can still get all the upcoming content by purchasing the $40 Hitman 2 Expansion Pass. The $80 Silver Edition includes the Spring and Summer updates, while the $100 Gold Edition includes the Spring, Summer, and Fall updates. Enjoy your infinity queue friends!ġ1:38 am: Ian rejoins the first queue, which hasn't moved at all.As noted by the roadmap, most of this content requires the player to have purchased either the Hitman 2 Silver or Gold Editions. Check out the seething jealously from the two on the left. Turns out he didn't have to queue with the proles after all, because there's a special queue for special people. Hitman is heading in the right direction. He'll sort the queue out in no time.ġ1:35 am: Mate. Ian decides to pop round and give him a tap on the shoulder. Is this a joke? Some sort of in-game hidden camera prank? An incredibly well realised simulation of the real bank queue experience?īut look! There's a bloke inside on a laptop. After some seconds of blank staring, it becomes painfully clear there's no-one at the window. Perhaps he'll have better luck here.ġ1:33 am: This queue does not move either. This one is a little bit shorter again, though. Ian Hitman snaps, and runs to the other side of the bank, to slip the surly bonds of decorum and escape the hell-queue. These thoughts of freedom soon become too much to bear.

To be free and subsist on stolen chips and the roasted back flesh of sleeping sunbathers, and never have to queue again. Back to the queue it is.Īh, but to be a pigeon, thinks Ian Hitman. He goes over to the water fountain but he seems to have lost his ability to interact with everyday objects in ways that don't directly contribute to murder in some fashion.ġ1:26 am: Ah. Ian Hitman plays with his pocket fluff and absently gazes at the tasteful chandelier dangling directly above the heads of the people currently ruining his dayġ1:25 am: Ian Hitman is thirsty. Phone lady complains about her cash card not working. Could this result in queue movement? Sadly, in true arsehole fashion, front guy either doesn't notice or doesn't care. The woman in the middle of the queue makes a phone call and loudly calls front guy an arsehole. The official trailer for Hitman 2's first Expansion Pass location has been released, and we get a great display of New York and what will be featured there. The bank teller is starting to break down a little, tells the bloke at the front he's holding up the queue. Ian Hitman is thinking about the last time he managed to fit a nice evening of self care into his schedule. Ian might have to kill this man laterġ1:20 am: Still no movement at all.
Ian is in fact maintaining the exact amount of space between them as there is between everyone else in the queue. The bloke in front of him turns around to complain that he's violating his personal space. Someone compliments his suit, which is nice, especially as he's not actually wearing one. Things are looking good.ġ1:10 am: After standing uselessly in the queue on the right for ten minutes, listening to the woman at the front worry out loud about the documents she's lost, Ian decides to switch to the left. But whatever the reason is, Ian Hitman is still queuing in the bank.ġ1:00 am: The queues are pretty short. Maybe I'm of a mind to test the sequence of events and player-agnostic world. Maybe he needs a quid to play Time Crisis. Not change in the Smashmouth sense where the bloke earnestly asks him for some money and he responds by uselessly philosophising at him in F# major for a bit, but actual hard currency. Maybe an artisan market has popped up in the high street and they're cash only, but he wants to buy himself some baklava. However, those who own the game’s Expansion Pass also have a few bonus content. As usual, the roadmap outlines the new Featured Contracts, Escalation Contracts, and Elusive Targets coming to Hitman 2 this month. Hitman 2 developer Io Interactive has unveiled the game’s June content roadmap. I've been playing the new Hitman 2 level for about ten minutes when I decide that Ian Hitman needs some change. Hitman 2: June Roadmap Includes New Bank Location.
